Conquer Together

In John 3, there is the story of Jesus chatting with a guy named Nicodemus.  In this conversation Jesus begins to explain the concept of being born again.  Clearly a strange idea for those listening. This new birth is a spiritual birth.  No physical DNA is changed but spiritual DNA is turn upside down!  This is arguably the greatest miracle and gift offered to us by a loving Father.  

Once this happens, we (you and I) are no longer “wanders in life” but sons and daughters of God - Alive in Christ!  With this new Spiritual position our connection with God has changed.  This is where you and I really get the winning hand in Spiritual Warfare.  You might say “it’s a game changer!”

Hebrews 10 explains that we can now boldly, without hesitation, walk right up to God (v 19).  We are encouraged to be full of belief and confidence (v 22).  I think the most amazing part of this promise is the writer using “us” and “we”.  You see friends, you are not alone.  We are in this together.  You have not been asked to fight your battles solo!  We, your brothers and sisters in Jesus, fight together.  We walk together.  We laugh and cry together.  We conquer together!

“Let’s see how inventive WE can be in encouraging love and helping out, not avoiding worshiping TOGETHER as some do but spurring EACH OTHER on, especially as WE see the big Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:25 MSG)

Today let’s spur each other on!  Reach out to someone God has put on your heart.  Pray for them!  Let them know WE are in this together! Be blessed together in Jesus!
