I have been there…

Hey folks!  My name is Joey Bridgers.  I have an amazing wife, Kara.  Proverbs 18:22 says “Find a good spouse (wife!!), you find a good life - even more:  the favor of God.”  Boy did I hit the jackpot!  And I am also blessed with a wonderful son, Zach.  

I have struggled and battled depression and addiction my entire life.  Walking through periods of extreme darkness, as well as, times of closeness with God that are almost indescribable.  All the while serving in ministry.  

One thing that has never wavered is Jesus’ love for me.  Once I truly let my walls down, opened up my whole life, stopped trying to fix myself - a tidal wave of healing and love fell over me.  Jesus grabbed me out of the muddy pit!  Healed me (and continues to heal me)!  Set me free!  I am a walking miracle!  Hallelujah!

I am an example of the words in Isaiah 61:3-7, God will take the rubble left behind and make it new - Flowers from Ashes! The same can happen in your life. It is all because of Jesus.

My hope and prayer is the words you find here will encourage you to keep pressing forward and allow God to do the miraculous in your life!
